We at EM—Journal seek your input on all phases of the journal's planning, development, and maintenance. Here are a few of the ways you can get involved.
Submit your WritingAs of July 2014, EM-Journal is no longer accepting new materials or developing new issues. To submit your work, simply follow the submission guidelines below and send it to us via email. Someone from our editorial team will confirm receipt of your work, usually within a couple of days. All work published in EM—Journal is flexibly reviewed, which means it will be read and commented by at least two readers (one may be the faculty sponsor of an issue). Schedules for review, revision, and resubmission vary.
EM—Journal assumes an expansive, contemporary definition of writing, which extends to include textual, digital, multimodal compositions. That is, you are welcome to submit work that integrates audio, video, and photographic elements (e.g., podcasts, digital video, photo essays).
Note: Under ordinary circumstances, the time frame from submitting work, applying revisions, and publication is 2-4 months.
